Child of the Week

Meet Kevin O.- WHS428
Birthday – March 1

Kevin is seventeen years old and is in Form 2 at Waddington High School.  Kevin lives with his parents in the Kayole-Soweto slums.  His father does casual work as he can find it and his mother is a housemaid.  Kevin helps at home by washing dishes.  Kevin scored a 268 on his KCPE Exam in Standard 8.  He would like to be a musician one day.  Can you provide Kevin with the help he needs to complete his high school education?

His birthday is March 1st -- what a wonderful birthday present it would be for him to hear the words, "You've been sponsored!"

You can sponsor Kevin for only $12.50 a month on the basic program, or $20 a month on the reduced-cost lunch program.  You will receive an annual photo and at least three letters a year from your sponsored child.  You will also be informed of the child’s grades in school.

For more information, please visit www.plantabook.org or email info@plantabook.org.
Please make a difference in the life of a child today!
